Andy Thomas’ “American Storytellers”, features American artists, authors and statesmen enjoying one another’s company. A gathering of good friends, combined with food, wine and great conversation can always be refreshingly therapeutic. From this painting, we draw the inspiration that is Group Therapy. This wine is a blend of Tempranillo 45%, Cabernet Sauvignon 35%, Petite Sirah 14% and Zinfandel 6%. Each variety was aged separately in French and American oak, for approximately 14 months prior to blending. The wonderful spicy notes of Tempranillo are given a new dimension by the earthy, fruity character of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Zinfandel adds its own unique berry and rich color highlights that unites the different components to make a wine that is harmonious and delicious. All of these varieties work comfortably with one another and the final wine is a joy to drink. Remarkably silky, with subtle hints of oak and rich berry fruit, Group Therapy captures all of the best things that a red wine blend has to offer. Enjoy with grilled meats, cheeses or on its own.
Ideally, drink this wine with food and the company of others; do so regularly, and Group Therapy is sure to cure you of the rigors that life offers.
